The team at Hog Roast Rainham know that hard work is hungry work. Especially in this summer heat! We love having the opportunity to keep those hard workers fuelled up especially when it those who tend to be overlook and underappreciated for their important jobs like at landfill sites.
Plus, everyone knows there’s nothing like a smoky summer barbecue. The site opted for our Gourmet BBQ Menu presented on sustainable wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery. This menu includes juicy, locally sourced burger, thick sausages and authentically flavoured Thai chicken kebabs and melt in your mouth ribs (which were the well-deserved favourite of the day). Each piece of meat presented bare or topped with an option of caramelised onions or melted cheese, encased in airy white, seeded brown bread rolls or soft tortilla wraps with gluten free options available! As for the vegetarian workers, there was a choice of grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers – colourful and bursting with flavour – and/or herby veggie sausages.
And of course, can you even call it a meal without sides? As for the potato option, there a mixture of traditional and sweet potato fries. And for the salad option, a green Greek salad with fresh feta cheese or saucy pasta salad.
Catering here was a brilliant way for Hog Roast Rainham to say thank you to the landfill site staff for all of their hard work that might go unnoticed to the typical public eye. Company catering is always a good idea to ensure that each worker knows that their determination and daily dedication is recognised. It is a great way to boost morale giving workers a little break to enjoy some incredible food, bringing them closer to one another, increasing compatibility and work ethic.
