Hello, I’m Dohnis, the catering manager for Spitting Pig South Essex. With a long career in catering and hospitality, I’ve worked in restaurant management at London hotels and as a hospitality manager for BSI. My keen eye for standards has carried over to my role as a Hog Roast Chef.
Being of Greek Cypriot origin, BBQs are in my blood, which inspired me to join the Spitting Pig family. I run the franchise with the help of my family and close friends, who I trust and train to meet our high standards. My daughters have grown up tasting and critiquing my food, while my wife Sue is invaluable in event preparation. My eldest daughters, Eleni and Zoe, love being part of the action at events.
Family is the most important thing in my life followed closely by football and holidays with family to Cyprus. I love the buzz of catering at events and really enjoy the atmosphere and being a part of people’s celebrations.
