Hog Roast Catering
Are we limited as to where the Hog Roast can be placed?
Our hog roast machines run on gas, meaning we can set them up inside or out, in the middle of a field or on the top floor of a building! There’s no need to worry about an electrical point as we do not need it. Our machines are also designed to fit through most garden gates allowing your next garden party to be unforgettable.
Some of our guests don’t enjoy pork, is this an issue?
Although hog roasting is a popular choice for our customers we are also specialists at cooking beef, lamb, chicken and much more! We can even provide mouth-watering vegetarian/ vegan options or options for guests with special dietary requirements.
Can you provide drinks?
We can provide a selection of drinks if needed, including tea, coffee and juice. Contact us today to find out more!
Who keeps any leftover food?
Our clients are welcome to keep any leftover food, or if you’d prefer we can take away and dispose of any unwanted food.
What are your prices?

What events are best for a Hog Roast?
You name it and we’ve catered for it! We’ve catered for Halloween parties, christenings, weddings, bonfire night celebrations, corporate events and much more! Don’t hesitate to talk to one of our staff members if you’d like to talk about your event in more detail!
What happens if its raining?
Don’t worry! Here at Spitting Pig South Essex we’ve seen it all and we’ve coped every-time. We will always supply a gazebo so your guests can keep out of the rain whilst being served or if you’d prefer we can also serve inside.
Do you supply any extras?
Yes, we can provide canapes for your wedding, salads for your garden party, tea and coffee for your corporate event or even cheese boards for a family gathering. Get in touch today and we’ll create a bespoke menu for you!
Can we cook the meat ourselves?
We can offer a DIY option if you’d prefer to do the cooking yourselves. You can hire the machine on its own or we can supply the meats as well, including full instructions on how to use the machine and cook your wanted meat.
How many people do you cater for?
Here at Spitting Pig South Essex we have no minimum and no maximum, we will happily cater for a intimate family gathering of 15 or a large corporate event of 2000. No matter your event we’re happy to be part of your special occasion.
