As the grandparent of the family it is your job to make sure everyone is well fed. How many times have we all been to our grandparent’s home only for them to insist on serving you up another meal or snack or drink before you can leave fully stuffed?
Well, Tony of Leigh-on-Sea is certainly no different in his role as a grandad. Taking great delight in hosting his family and treating all of his grandchildren to a good bite to eat, Tony went the extra mile in also ordering a Hog Roast Leigh-on-Sea feast to cater for a joint birthday between his four lucky grandchildren. When grandad is going to treat you, he’s going to treat you just right with Hog Roast Leigh-on-Sea!
There’s always another bite to eat any time Hog Roast Leigh-on-Sea are at the party. With it being a joint birthday for four, we knew we would need plenty of food, as we could only ever have the best for Tony’s grandchildren. At his insistence, it had to be a hog roast buffet, complete with crispy golden crackling, our homemade sage and onion stuffing, fresh apple sauce, gluten free rolls, mixed salad, creamy gourmet slaw, and a vegetarian alternative of grilled veg and halloumi skewers (without the halloumi as a vegan variant).
For the 65 guests in attendance, that was a grand old feast to feed everyone. Still, however, you had Tony playing the grandad role down to a tee by insisting that each of his birthday-celebrating grandkids go in for another bite. Fortunately, with our hog roast alone able to serve about one hundred guests, another bite was never going to hurt here at Hog Roast Leigh-on-Sea!
A great day was had by all. We were fortunate to have a bit of sun come out as we set up in the garden, and Tony was also an excellent host throughout, constantly chatting with our team and making sure we were happy. That’s meant to be our job for you, Tony! Perhaps, for your next birthday, the Hog Roast Leigh-on-Sea team will get to return the favour.
