Hog Roast Burnham-on-Crouch – The Best Way to Celebrate a Birthday is with Friends and Food

Making the most of your birthday isn’t easy. It comes around only once a year, and where the milestone birthdays are concerned, the gap is even greater. That puts a tonne of pressure on the day sometimes, making it difficult to put together something that lives up to the billing.

But sometimes all you actually need for those special milestone birthdays is some good company and some good food to go along with it. That was the case last weekend right here in Burnham-on-Crouch, where our highlighted customer of the week celebrated their special 40th birthday surrounded by friends, family, and Hog Roast Burnham-on-Crouch’s catering!

Having been in private party catering for several decades now, we know just how important food is to a good celebration. Once you’ve got everyone gathered, the occasion only gets better when you have some quality dining to share, too. That is why the old adage about good food and good company exists, and why it continually rings true again and again at so many of our Hog Roast Burnham-on-Crouch events. For this very special birthday celebration, all it took was 50 friends and family and a hog roast menu to turn the afternoon into a perfect occasion that will live long in the memory for all.

Our birthday guest requested the works from Head Chef Dohnis and the Hog Roast Burnham-on-Crouch team – and so that is exactly what they got! The works, in this case, being our signature hog roast dining menu, complete with freshly made sides and delicious accompaniments. Our namesake roast was made in the traditional spit style earlier that day, giving the pork plenty time to crisp up and intensify in flavour through every bite. Then served with the golden crispy crackling that comes out of the roasting process, our own homemade sage and onion stuffing, and refreshing apple sauce for even more flavour, it was all the works as requested! Further accompaniments of fresh fries, mixed leaves, tomato and mozzarella salad, coleslaw, and BBQ pulled jackfruit as a veggie alternative to our pork, rounded out this perfect menu and a perfect 40th birthday celebration!Hog Roast Burnham On Crouch
