Those of you with high school kids or university students in your life will no doubt have felt the stress of results day just a few weeks back. The potential for real joy and excitement or heartbreaking disappointment – it’s enough to stress anyone out.
But the upside of the results day is when those in your life have attained the results they wanted and set themselves up for their own future. That is something that is most assuredly worthy of celebration. And we are not alone in thinking it, as the Hog Roast Thurrock team were invited to cater for a very special graduation party for a pair of twins here in Thurrock. Toasting to not one, but two special result achievements called for only the very best of our catering menus – our gourmet barbecue range.
With our gourmet barbecue range, our hosts and could double up on their twists, taking up both a burger roll and a gourmet sausage roll, or a Thai chicken kebab wrapped up with mixed leaves, and creamy slaw in one of our wraps, or a delicious BBQ marinated pulled jackfruit roll, complete with the same tastes and textures as our signature hog roast only made to be vegan and veggie friendly. Even with the heat around the country in the last few weeks and the various warnings and self-imposed restrictions, nothing was ever going to stop this graduation ceremony from going all out. The whole Hog Roast Thurrock team had a blast catering for everyone involved. It wasn’t all too long ago that many of our team here would have also been involved in that same results day stress. We know just how much it can mean to graduate and set yourself up for the life that you have worked oh so hard for. It’s how so many of us came to catering in the first place!
