Another day in autumn, another excellent corporate catering event to tell you about from the team at Hog Roast Letchworth.
Coming out of the summer and into the autumn season, the Hog Roast Letchworth team will often see a marked rise in corporate events. The reasons should be fairly obvious; in the summer you have staff teams looking a little more sparse with employees taking holidays at different points through the season. Once autumn hits the regular routine begins to settle in again, which means whole teams are back together and ready to take on the long latter end of the year stretch to Christmas. To get them through it, management teams will often rely on various motivating strategies to break up the weeks, such as hiring professional corporate catering from Hog Roast Letchworth.
September was rife with corporate events because of this. One such that we would like to tell you about comes in the final week of September, where the Hog Roast Letchworth team came out to Letchworth Garden City to cater a very special lunch for the hard-working staff of Aalberts Surface Technologies. Without knowing it, it is entirely possible that you have encountered their work before, as Aalberts provide sensational surface services across a range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, chemical and construction. Such work makes for hungry employees, so the management took the opportunity of this fine September day to hire the Hog Roast Letchworth team to provide a lunch of hog roast rolls, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, and fresh salads, slaws, and fries.
Through the morning of our event, Aalberts staff members would have been delighted to see our head chef Dohnis working his magic with our signature hog roast. Presentation is everything when it comes to catering, and it doesn’t get much more impressive than the sight of our whole hog roast cooking in the authentic spit style. Dohnis then follows this up with an equally spectacular show of expert carving, turning our pork into a delicious pulled pork filling for any roll or wrap along with crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and apple sauce. Come lunchtime, the Aalberts staff were lining up in their droves to get a roll or two or three!
