Wedding catering is an important aspect of any big event, so it is not surprising that Natasha contacted Hog Roast Goldhanger well in advance to smooth out all of the details. She contacted our catering manager Adam to discuss our formal catering packages and select one that was perfect for her ceremony. Since she is getting married in the summer, she wanted the menu to be enjoyable in the sunshine, while still being formal enough for a traditional reception. The menu also needed to be suitable for 80 guests, including a delicious vegetarian option. After looking through our menus, it was decided that our formal wedding package was the ideal choice for the occasion.
This dining package begins with canapés as the guests enter the reception, which sets a formal tone for the event. The guests can choose from a selection of 5 dishes, with common choices being duck breast and delicious salmon.
Once the guests are seated, they can enjoy the main course, which is a Hog Roast Goldhanger classic! The dinner includes a slow-roasted hog, or BBQ pulled jackfruit for meat-free guests, served with all of the trimmings and a variety of delicious sides. Some examples include homemade chips, sage and onion stuffing, and seasonal steamed vegetables.
As well as the beautiful wedding cake, guests can also enjoy desserts served by our team, which look and taste excellent. This is a wonderful way to end the evening and prepares the guests for the rest of the reception.
