But for even more style, our southern slow roast menu is a perfect choice for a wedding. The Hog Roast Mountnessing team were invited out to the wonderful wedding party of Amy and Jem at Hunts Farm. This was a perfect location for a perfect day. A stunning backdrop to what was one of the best events that we have catered for in quite some time. Jem, Amy, and all their wedding guests looked incredible out in the sunshine celebrating this perfect wedding ceremony. Just to add to the style of the day some more, our southern slow roast cranked up the heat further.
Inspired by the roasting style of the American southern states, our southern slow roast is a highly stylish taste experience for the most special of occasions – which of course a wedding is. This menu was chosen on account of its smoky and spicy tastes, delivering a good punch of flavour with every single dish. Working with our catering manager Dohnis, Jem and Amy opted for our three mains of Texas style beef brisket, pulled quarter of minted lamb, and Cajun spiced whole roasted chickens. As a veggie alternative our grilled veg and halloumi skewers delivered plenty of flavour. And all of that spicy and tasty goodness goes even better with a good few sides just to cool the dish off. So, our creamy mac and cheese, Greek salad, crunchy slaw, and mix of regular and sweet potato fries helped to round out this delicious feast. But Hog Roast Mountnessing don’t forget the kids, either. With this much spice in our main offering, we thought it only right to offer a more kid-friendly option of frankfurter sausages, too.
