Every year we all run into the same problem: one Christmas dinner is just not enough. In the flurry of the festive season all any of us really want to get to is that glorious dinner feast on Christmas day. We want to carve up that golden turkey, hoover up pigs in blankets, indulge in an extra stuffing ball or two or three, take up another golden roastie, and get that gravy well pooled in amongst it all.
To only have that once just is not enough for the year. Even with leftovers there is just not quite the same satisfaction as that one fresh Christmas dinner. So, then, next year you too could be just like our customer Jay who’s Boxing Day event saw friends and family taking on round two of the Christmas dinner with the Hog Roast Westcliff-on-Sea catering team!
When one Christmas dinner isn’t enough just call catering manager Dohnis and you too could enjoy a second fresh serving of all your Christmas favourites. Jay and co indulged in the very best of our festive menu, taking both a glorious Hog Roast Westcliff-on-Sea whole roasted pig and our rotisserie cooked whole turkey roast. A bit of both is what you need for a proper festive feast, but it is in the sides that the whole thing really comes together. If the Christmas Day portioning of pigs in blankets wasn’t enough in the Jay household, then hopefully our added Boxing Day helpings more than sufficed. There was also our homemade sage and onion stuffing to go with our hog roast and turkey, fresh cranberry and apple sauces, homemade cauliflower cheese, a seasonal veg medley, roasted new potatoes, and lashings of rich gravy to pour into our delicious and sizeable Yorkshire puddings.
For our money this was a perfect way to keep the Christmas festivities going on Boxing Day, and the whole Hog Roast Westcliff-on-Sea team had a wonderful time joining Jay’s group of 50, who made sure there was plenty of entertainment on show for the afternoon and evening with fireworks adding to the sparkling spectacle of our signature hog roast.
