Moving in to a new home is an exciting time for anyone, but Hog Roast Chipping Ongar’s latest clients made her move extra special. The client hired the team to create a fun, filling buffet for herself and 10 guests as they celebrated her success in her new home.
The party was to take place in the evening, with food being served at 8pm. As a result the Chef from Hog Roast Chipping Ongar arrived at the house several hours before the serving time, so that the catering gazebo, lights and cooking equipment could all be set up ready for the food preparation to commence.
The menu for the party had been carefully selected by the client and team at Hog Roast Chipping Ongar. They worked together to put together a list of truly tempting, tasty dishes for the guests.
The main attraction at the buffet table was a Classic Hog Roast, which would take the longest to sizzle to perfection (spending hours being turned under the experienced hands of the Chef), and would be served with crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and tangy apple sauce. Also on offer at the serving table was Chefs three choice of salads, which in this case was: fresh Greek salad, cherry tomato salad and finally nicoise. There was also a large platter of warm new potatoes that had been cooked to perfection in a deliciously aromatic herb butter that was sure to send taste buds a flutter with delight.
Part of the catering package the clients selected from Hog Roast Chipping Ongar included the use of reusable wooden crockery and cutlery. The client loved the idea of using reusable crockery, feeling that it added an element of style to her fun, informal event.
The party buffet was a massive success! The client and her guests were thrilled to have such a wonderful array of choice on offer at the serving table, and the Chef helped to serve the guests so that they could eat as much as they wanted. All in all it was an event very well done.
