Just to let you know that the party was a great success & enjoyed by all. Dohnis & his daughter were excellent in preparing everything & as far as I know there were no left-overs. I received lots of comments saying how good the food was.
Dohnis & his daughter turned up in plenty of the time & the food was ready at the time he said it would be. The pork that was left over was put in cardboard boxes & left in the kitchen for people to take home. When I returned on Saturday morning to collect my car the boxes had all gone.

Set up on the day was so smooth, I didn't have any last minute phone calls on my wedding day, I just turned up at the venue and everything was underway and running without a hitch!
I am so thankful to Dohnis and Zoe for making our day so easy. Dohnis was so friendly, and approachable, and I really feel he went the extra mile checking with me on the day that everything was how I wanted, and before the big day that everything was okay, and we are both very grateful!
Can't recommend highly enough! Plus, we got so many left-overs all packaged and ready for the next day for the hungover clearing up the venue!

We had about 100 people and the weather was a little unkind but they set everything up and served bang on time and everyone commented on how fantastic the food was. My husband says they were the best sausages he has ever had.
The salmon was fantastic and all the side salads, fries etc were spot on.

Iros was utterly utterly amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. He was outstanding. He went above and beyond for us. Even helping with the emergency gazebos we had to put up for our guests. He was not phased at all by the weather and just made everything so easy for us.

Adam and the team were absolutely incredible providing the catering for our wedding on Saturday at Captains Wood Barn. The communication prior to the event was outstanding, responsive, flexible and made planning the day so easy.
The food was incredible and the range of vegan food for our guests went down a storm. You always fear with a self serve style of food that the last people to be served will be either have the ‘left over’ or cold food. This wasn’t the case for us at all, people went back for seconds and we’re still saying they had burnt their mouths on the chips.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for more, thank you so much for all you did to make our day stress free and everyone saying how amazing the food was. Highly recommended by us!

Adam and Andy were terrific. The food was lovely. Everyone commented that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was so good not to have to worry about catering.
Adam and Andy were everything you could ask for- friendly, efficient and while their food was great they just melted into the background.
I was especially impressed by their kindness to the people who needed a little extra help. They just helped without it being obvious that they were helping. People were delighted by the takeaway boxes too.

Hi Geordie, sorry about the delay…..a very hectic week!
Our event could not have gone better……your team turned up at the arranged time and very quickly set up all their equipment without any fuss and were no hindrance at all.
Antipasti was served up on time and due to the late arrival of a few guests, it was agreed that the main course could be delayed by 20 minutes which worked well for us and your team.
All the food was was well received with plenty of compliments from our guests.
The bamboo plates, cutlery and serviettes were great quality and received plenty of positive comments.
After desserts had been served, the team cleared everything away unnoticed and discreetly said goodbye. I must add a special thank you to Vicky and Iros (hopefully spelt correctly) who worked like Trojans and were superb all afternoon and were very accommodating when I asked them to delay proceedings a couple of times.
All-in-all, a wonderful day was had by our guests with perfect weather and balanced with the Spitting Pig Hog Roast. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your company.

Just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for our delicious Hog Roast on Wednesday. It went down a treat with everyone and it was my first ever Hog Roast which I thoroughly enjoyed – especially the crackling although the stuffing was pretty good too. We have had great feedback from everyone who attended and we will certainly be in touch in the future should we decide to do this again.
Please convey our thanks also to Adam and the young lady who assisted him on the day (apologies as I don’t know her name). They worked really hard on what was I think the hottest day of the year. I hope all was okay from their point of view.

Our event was a great success thanks to the Spitting Pig Co. Communication before the event was very good, and on the day, Ashley phoned and texted to let me know when he would be arriving (6pm). He set up swiftly and efficiently. The table was beautifully laid out (great salads) and he planned the flow of guests so that there would be no “traffic jams”. It looked modern, tasteful and relaxed with black marquee and black table cloths, wooden bowls, woven baskets, bamboo plates. The service started as planned (9pm) and he managed to feed 100 guests in an hour (many came back for seconds). Many of our guests commented on how scrumptious it all was and how they’ve had hog roast before but never one as good as this! We have enjoyed the leftovers too. Ashely packed up discreetly and was away at 10:30pm.
I would recommend this service whole heartedly – the pricing is also fair in my view for what it provides, including peace of mind for the host and very happy guests.

Ashley was amazing: courteous, professional yet friendly and attended patiently to all my guests’ needs and requirements. He set up and left as quiet as a mouse. So smooth. The area where he set up was left so clean you would not know he was there at all.
The food was beyond delicious. All my guests were impressed and the party was a big success.
I would not hesitate to rely on your service again for my next events and recommend your service to others and I am sure my guests would do the same. Most of them wanted your details.

I was about to call to let you know what a wonderful service we received from Ashley on Saturday evening.
Ashley was extremely professional, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly, spending time telling our guests all about the hog and advising about the different cuts of meat. The pig was delicious and so tender, in fact some of our guests had 3rd helpings. All mess was cleared and taken away and the remainder of the meat was boxed for us to use the next day.
I have already recommended Spitting Pig in fact 2 of my guests have already asked me for your details and will definitely use your services again for our next party.
Incidentally we attended another event on Sunday with a hog roast, and it was awful not a patch on ours, no flavour and chewy.

The Hog Roast we had from yourselves for my Dad’s 80th Birthday party was all we hoped it would be and much much more. Adam the chef and the young lady he had helping him were both amazing they helped the evening to go smoothly. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared and presented, I really can’t praise it enough.
