A Lifetime of Memories and One unforgettable Feast with Hog Roast Benfleet

One of the greatest things when you cater for all kinds of events, from weddings and birthdays to corporate events and garden parties, is the people. In this line of work you meet so many different people, all with different and exciting stories. And here at Hog Roast Benfleet, we love to be a little snippet of your story.

You may think, as Spitting Pig is such a large national company that you lose the personal touch in our catering, but this simply isn’t true. Our Hog Roast Benfleet servers, chefs and catering managers ensure that you experience is completely and utterly personalised, from menu to location and even serving plates, everything is customisable. Not only this, but our servers always open for chit-chat, getting to know our guests is the second best part of the whole experience (our food being the best, of course).

Recently we catered for a lovely, Mother’s 80th Birthday party, organised by her daughter Suzie. It was so intriguing to hear about the lifetime of memories that Suzie’s mother had to offer and so fulfilling to be able to give her an incredible meal on her special day.

Hog Roast BenfleetSuzie selected our Menu 3 which has a whole hog carved and served as succulent pulled pork served in soft white or gluten free bread rolls. And for the vegetarian guests, an equally as delicious vegan option of grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers were up for grabs, accompanied by enough herb dressed baby potatoes that no one could have gone without a second helping.

Each meal was served on wooden bamboo crockery with matching bamboo cutlery to tie each mouth-watering component together with beautifully coordinated presentation.

It is always a pleasure to get to know guests, but this event in particular, had us all at Hog Roast Benfleet entranced by some of the incredible stories our 80 years young birthday girl had to share – a great sum of incredible memories. And although we had to say goodbye, we really do hope to see her and the family again at the next big milestone!
