Earlier this year, Hog Roast South Benfleet was contacted by Danny to arrange catering for an upcoming trade show. The event is hosted for people interested in renovating houses and it includes stalls and demonstrations from all the necessary trades, including landscapers, plasterers, electricians, and interior designers. For this year’s event, Hog Roast South Benfleet has been hired to provide a classic hog roast for the occasion. This menu includes plenty of delicious dishes, and is a hearty and filling meal.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast South Benfleet team arrived at the exhibition hall in the morning and began to prepare for the midday start time. We began our prep by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once the pork was packed full of natural juices and flavours, it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages. For the side dishes, the guests enjoyed homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a green leaf salad. Overall, our menu was a great addition to the trade show and was ideal for keeping the guests satisfied whilst they browsed the event.
