Our event was a great success thanks to the Spitting Pig Co. Communication before the event was very good, and on the day, Ashley phoned and texted to let me know when he would be arriving (6pm). He set up swiftly and efficiently. The table was beautifully laid out (great salads) and he planned the flow of guests so that there would be no “traffic jams”. It looked modern, tasteful and relaxed with black marquee and black table cloths, wooden bowls, woven baskets, bamboo plates. The service started as planned (9pm) and he managed to feed 100 guests in an hour (many came back for seconds). Many of our guests commented on how scrumptious it all was and how they’ve had hog roast before but never one as good as this! We have enjoyed the leftovers too. Ashely packed up discreetly and was away at 10:30pm.
I would recommend this service whole heartedly – the pricing is also fair in my view for what it provides, including peace of mind for the host and very happy guests.
