Hog Roast Basildon are always kept busy, especially with the weather turning warmer and people looking for someone to cater at their garden parties and BBQs. Luckily that’s the way we like it, and this week was no different! One of the first events for the week was a private function at Bowers Sports and Social Club providing food for fifty guests.
Our Hog Roast Basildon team set out bright and early to the social club to get everything prepared for the event and to ensure we had plenty of time to cook our food to perfection. The event organisers had requested our classic Hog Roast Basildon menu of a whole roasted hog served up with a plethora of accompaniments. For the vegetarians we would be providing our fantastic vegetarian skewers and of course all the accompaniments would be suitable for them too.
In terms of accompaniments we would be providing a freshly made mixed salad using locally sourced produce along with our chefs own recipe crunchy coleslaw. The organisers had also gone for our 50/50 option for the chips with half made up of sweet potato fries which are such a treat served up with our Hog Roast Basildon. We had also been asked to prepare some butchers selection sausages and a whole roasted salmon to complete the meal. With such a brilliant spread of food we knew the guests would be impressed and our chefs worked hard to serve up a Hog Roast Basildon to be proud of.
Once the guests arrived within no time our Hog Roast Basildon had been completely devoured which always puts a smile on our face. Before leaving we made sure to carefully wrap up what leftovers remained and cleared away all of our rubbish as we like to always leave an event as we find it in order for our clients to be able to focus on their guests and enjoying their event!
