Hog Roast Hazeleigh didn’t stray too far from home last weekend after we had been asked to attend a party in local, Woodham Mortimer!
Organised by Kim, the occasion saw 30 people gather for a long-awaited celebration, and on-hand to keep everyone’s spirits high with some great food, served, of course, with a smile, was our catering manager, Adam and the rest of the Hog Roast Hazeleigh staff.
The process of planning the event stretched back several weeks, which is when Kim first got in touch with our customer service team to ask if we had room in our diary for her event – and luckily for her, we did! Breathing a sigh of relief that her celebration was in good hands, Kim then excitedly began the process of choosing a menu, and it didn’t take long before her eyes fell on the Alfresco Menu.
As the newest instalment to our portfolio, we’re proud to say that this menu offers a fresh take on hog roasts that has proved immensely popular with our customers since its initial launch back in March. Like many of our clients recently, Kim found it was ideal for her outdoor celebrations, and after what felt like the wait of a lifetime, she was able to enjoy the feast surrounded by her guests!
Leading the Hog Roast Hazeleigh team, Adam made sure to arrive on-site hours in advance of the serving time, allowing himself enough time to erect the gazebo, fire up the HogMaster and prepare the antipasti platters, which feature a delicate array of Prosciutto Parma ham and salami, served alongside Buffalo mozzarella, Parmigiano and gorgonzola with artisan herb focaccia, ciabatta and seasoned breadsticks. Finishing off the dish, our team included olives, sun-dried tomatoes and bottles of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar; all of which were beautifully arranged atop our bamboo wooden boards.
Adam had made sure that each table was presented with its own antipasti platter, which the guests thoroughly enjoyed as an entree to the main course of a whole roasted free-range pig, served with a trio of salad options and a potato side dish.
