Though a lot of us may well work some days remotely from home these days there isn’t much worse than being stuck in a stuffy office for work all day when the sun is shining outside and the weather is nice and warm. It often makes those hours tick by that little bit slower and so often by the time you do get off work you’ll have missed the very best of the sun.
That is why a local business customer of ours decided to take a little bit of inspiration from one of our recent blog posts and take his team outside for a more leisurely lunch out in the sun with a Hog Roast Salcott catered meal. It’s a great way to boost morale and break up the work week a little, and judging from our customer’s staff response it was a much enjoyed afternoon too! Brian, a local marketer, has worked with Hog Roast Salcott quite a few times for his business. We have helped him with client launches on special advertising projects so when the idea struck him to enjoy an office lunch out in the park across the road from his office there wasn’t all too much conversation or planning that had to be had on our end. Hog Roast Salcott knows Brian well, and we know his location and tastes so we had him booked in with just a 2 day lead time so that we could cater in the middle of the week.
For this special lunch service Hog Roast Salcott cooked up a special hog roast in the morning and let it roast until lunchtime. In the mean time we prepped our side fine Italian meat and cheese platters that would also be served along with hog roast rolls and grilled veg and halloumi skewers. Once the roast was nearly ready we headed out to the park and welcomed over a very surprised staff team with lots of nice little nibbles before the main event. Thankfully the sun and the weather did hold out too for the entire office lunch making the whole occasions very pleasant for all.
