With all that in mind, newly-engaged couple Tara and Josh wasted no time in getting in touch with us almost immediately after Josh popped the question! Having us on their side meant the couple were able to shape every detail of their culinary plan, refining even the smallest aspects like side servings and accompaniments to more vital elements like timings and vegetarian options.

Fast-forward to last Saturday, when after 13 months of planning, and one wedding date postponement due to lockdown, the loved-up pair finally made it down the aisle and exchanged vows in a gorgeous, winter-themed ceremony.

Whilst the happy couple tied the knot, Hog Roast Dagenham worked tirelessly outdoors, shielded, of course, by the catering gazebo, to prepare a tantalising spread based on the classic hog roast menu. After hours spent slow roasting the meat on a rotisserie skewer, the pig turned a sensational golden colour and the salt-infused skin bubbled, creating a layer of perfectly crispy crackling. For vegetarians, the team prepared grilled vegetable skewers with flatbreads and tzatziki dip, which matched well with the inclusive salad and potato sides.

With the chilling temperatures nipping at the fingers and toes of the guests, everyone was immensely grateful for the tasty hog roast spread which instantly sent a wave of warmth through them after just one bite.
